FOUNDING MEETING: Oregon Perinatal Business Alliance(?) We will vote on our name at this meeting… I love a good acronym and have been playing with GROW- growth and referrals for Oregon Wombs? - but I’m falling short on really capturing all of us.

There are so many of us supporting birthing people in Portland—referring to one another and lifting up our community. Over the past few years, I’ve spent time bringing together those of us who treat infants, enjoying getting to know our amazing doula community, and offering lunch and learns to acupuncturists, pediatricians, and OBs in the area… and it’s been incredible to see how valuable and enriching a strong referral network can be.

Now, I want to take it further. I want to bring together all the OBs and midwives in town, pediatricians, perinatal mental health specialists, doulas, acupuncturists, chiropractors, fitness professionals, OT, PT, and SLPs, and pelvic floor therapists, and MORE who specialize in pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and babies—essentially, the people who are highly attuned to this season of life.

My goal is simple: let’s make our businesses thrive—together. By learning from and supporting one another, we strengthen our community of perinatal professionals—and show families the high-quality care they deserve.
